Our family of five -- two adults and three teenage/young adult children -- had a wonderful stay at Mary's Court. We rented three rooms all of which were clean, cozy and nicely decorated. In fact, the whole guest house features numerous artworks, all by Welsh artists. David and Chris served fantastic breakfasts with a wonderful array of choices. They could not have been more pleasant and warm hosts. Highly recommend staying here when you are in Snowdonia. Betws-y-Coed is a lovely little village and and is in a perfect location close to the coast and also Mt. Snowdon and neighboring mountains.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mary's Court Guest House in Betws-y-Coed. David and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to our needs. The room itself was cosy and well-equipped and the breakfast was 10/10!The location of the guest house is perfect, just 5 x minute stroll to local shops, pubs and restaurants. Also, only a few minutes to the train station, where we took the Sherpa bus service to the pen-y-pass and hiked Snowdon.Thank you both for your hospitality. We will surely be recommending your place to others visiting the area.Best wishes,Helen

From Australia we had high expectations of Mary’s and Snowdonia. We had a fabulous 3 night stay. Snowdonia stunning, Betws Y Coed everything we’d hoped for and Mary’s one of the best B&B’s we’ve stayed and we’ve stayed in and we’ve stayed in a few! Natural friendly hosts one of the keys. From near or far try Mary’s in this beautiful village and stunning location. Lynne & Robin Australia

David & Chris were fabulous hosts as usual. I returned due to their previous level of service and prime location in Betws as an ideal entry into Snowdonia National Park. Rooms are a good standard, comfortable beds, great breakfast options. Great location, quiet and not too big with only 6 rooms. Perfect place to stay if just visiting Betws or going mountaineering in the Park.

Mary's Court Guest House is a lovely place to stay. Chris & David are perfect hosts. Chris makes lovely breakfasts & David always has a suggestion of where to visit. They even left a bottle of wine in our room for our anniversary. Betws y Coed is central for visiting many places & there are many walks in & around the village. We will return to stay with Chris & David again & not forgetting little Charlie who thinks he is a big guard dog.

We had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Mary's Court. It's in a perfect location for everything in Snowdonia. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. All the rooms were tastefully decorated and some great art work on the walls. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit this part of Wales. Thank you Chris & David for a lovely little break and fab breakfast.

Very tastfully decorated, comfortable guest house, containing lots of interesting artwork, in a great position within Betws-y-Coed. The hosts Chris and David were very welcoming and friendly we were particularly impressed by the fact that Chris ensured there was a plentiful supply of hot water for us to shower after climbing Mount Snowdon! We highly recommend this guest house and hope to visit again someday.

The hospitality was brilliant. The BNB is a cosy well decorated building situated in a great part of the town. And whilst the breakfast, lounge rooms and hallways are decorated in this cosy old fashioned way, the rooms themselves are perfectly clean and modern. The breakfasts never failed to satisfy and David and Chris were kind, talkative and helpful throughout the stay.

David and Chris both went out of their way to make us feel welcome and help us enjoy our time there. The Guest House was very comfortable and the breakfast was good and had plenty of flexible options i.e. delivered to your room. The room was very pleasant and clean, albeit narrow with fairly limited storage.Despite that, we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. Thanks.

Nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean with clean bedding and towels. The breakfast options were plentiful and very good quality. The guest house was very easy to find and parking was plentiful. We were particularly pleased that the owners took great provide in the guest house and that was reflected in all the little details that can sometime be too much trouble. October, perhaps not the best time to stay up in the mountains, as we did have rain and a lot of cloud, but staying in Mary's Court Guest House was the perfect base from which to travel. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were ideal and set us up for the day. Even starting early in the morning, a light breakfast was made available. Really impressive, and we would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

Spent three nights at Mary's Court in August 2022 as part of a short walking holiday in Snowdonia. The Guest House is well placed with all of the village's facilities a short walk away. Room 5 had everything I needed and was immaculate. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep and the powerful, hot shower was most welcome after a day out on the mountains. As other reviewers have remarked, Chris and David are very friendly and they couldn't have done more to make sure my stay was a memorable, happy return to a childhood haunt. The even arranged 3 days of wall to wall sunshine - a remarkable achievement for North Wales. Highly recommended.

We travelled to Betws-y-Coed the day after our wedding as a little “Minimoon” before returning to work. I can honestly say this was one of the best breaks we’ve had! The b&b is in a superb location to access the town, and is absolutely beautiful. Our room (room 2) was immaculate and there were so many little touches that made it feel like home! The balcony is also a beautiful addition to sit out in the evening. David and Chris were excellent hosts, they made us feel so welcome and were so helpful, they’d honestly cater to any need! Breakfast was also a 10/10 with plenty to choose from (on the cooked menu) as well as continental options. We truly had a fantastic stay at Mary’s Court and will definitely be returning! Thank you both so much.

Everything about Mary's Court was excellent! The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable and we loved the artwork dotted around the house. The breakfast was plentiful and always served with a smile and our hosts Chris and David were super helpful! The house was ideally situated for the local area and as a base for Snowdonia and further afield. The only slightly negative thing was sometimes the passing traffic was a bit noisy but we got used to that over our time there. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Mary's Court to friends and family wishing to stay in North Wales.

We stayed here for 4 nights during April. Betsw-Y-Coed and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. Chris and David are fantastic hosts, who made us feel very welcome. The house is beautifully decorated, with interesting art dotted around. Guests have the use of a snug, at the rear of the property with a fireplace and comfortable seating. Mary's Court is well positioned within walking distance to the local restaurants, cafes and shops. There is plenty of parking at the front. Our room (No 4) was bijou, elegantly furnished with en suite facilities - as are all of the rooms. David and Chris took it in turns to cook and deliver a delicious breakfast to the guests. Selections have to be made before 9pm the day before and include a variety of choices. There is an option for those who prefer to breakfast in their room. The scrumptious food certainly set us up the for the day. The chaps even went out of their way to provide our favourite cereal, which was much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable and all the facilities were impeccable. Many thanks to Chris and David for a superb stay, hopefully we can come again.

We came for our 20th wedding anniversary as we wanted to climb Snowdon. On arrival we were shown to our room and there was a card and present. Such a lovely touch and made us feel special. It is in a great location with the centre only being a couple of minute walk. The room was newly decorated, lovely and clean and had everything you needed including biscuits with our tea. You have to pre order your breakfast which is great as means there’s no waste, the selection was great and the food was freshly cooked and tasted amazing. You also get the choice of cereal, fruit and yoghurt to go with it. Now to Chris & David, what can we say. Made us feel welcome from the minute we got there. Nothing was too much trouble. They were friendly, helpful and had great local knowledge. We will be coming back again next year without a doubt. Thank you both so much for making our stay so special xx

The room itself was wonderful and bed was vey comfortable. We stayed a full week and with storage and room facilities being restocked regularly we had a very comfortable stay. We met David the following morning at breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent as was the service my partner being diary free the porridge with soya milk was a first for them with Chris actually trying it himself. The guest house is also very well positioned for shops, cafes and restaurants all being within a 5 minute walk. Both Chris and David were very accommodating and attentive and we would recommend Mary’s Court Guest House to friends and family planning on holidaying in North Wales.

I could not recommend this place more!Mary’s Court Guest house is fantastically located, Close to all the hiking routes and in the centre of the lovely town. It is also within close driving vicinity to all the attractions around Snowdonia. Also there is designated parking space at Mary’s.Chris and David are amazing hosts who will make you feel so welcomed. You literally feel like you are visiting a family member or a good friend. They are always happy to help and provide local tips around where to go or what to visit. The rooms are cute, comfortable and very clean. The room price came with the breakfast which was so tasty and freshly prepared by the hosts 🥰We had such an amazing time and Chris and David made it even better! Thank you so much for your hospitality. Use will be back ❤️

If you are planning on staying at Mary’s Court you won’t be disappointed, Chris and David will give you a warm welcome and make sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The room we stayed in was beautiful and clean and was perfect for a quiet nights sleep after some heavy walking and zipwire fun.The Covid protocols they have in place make sure you are safe and there is plenty of room in the common areas for all guests. Breakfast was a fantastic choice and beautiful cooked and tasted lovely, I highly recommend the sausages and black pudding! In all it’s a perfect little guest house situated on the edge of the village and only a short drive to anywhere in the Snowdonia national park, a beautiful and modern B&B with lovely art on the walls and Greta hosts to make your stay so relaxed and enjoyable, thank you Chris and Dave for Mark and Kathryn, we will be back ????????

We always travel to North Wales for breaks with our children and grandchildren. Especially Betws-y-coed which has lots to offer. This was our first break alone and family free.Marilys Guest House lives up to all our expectations. The trip advisor reviews rated it highly and rightfully so. The accommodation was lovely. Comfortable beds with modern en-suite in warm surroundings and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options cooked to a great standard. Situated within 200 metres of the village centre. Parking facilities at the house and I saw that cyclists secured their bikes in the shed.I’ve left the beat till last. Our Hosts Dave and Chris, I could go on with numerous flattering comments about them. They made us and other guests feel very welcome. Taking time to have a chat and advise us on places to visit and events taking place. There was not enough they could do for you but it wasn’t false they genuinely love what they do and made our stay feel as though we were visiting friends. We will definitely be returning to their wonderful guest house. Thank You both.

Booked this guest house last minute for a weekend getaway. The owner Lynn was in contact over text the night before and upon our arrival met us with a smile at the front door. She was very attentive, asked if we would like a pot of tea to take to our room before we went out for dinner. As it was raining offered us umbrellas etc.The rooms were compact but perfect, lots of natural light. Easy to use shower and a comfy bed.The location was around a 5 minute walk from the village centre, which with all the scenery, pubs and shops along the way probably took us about 2 hours! If I was looking for a weekend away in this part of the world again I would definitely try and book this place first!

We stayed for three nights and would have no hesitations in staying again. Warm welcome from the owners who confirmed we could park up early upon our arrival in Wales. Nice room, lovely breakfast and literally minutes walking distance from the local bars, restaurants, shops and local park. Also, roughly 30 minutes drive from places such as Conwy and Mount Snowdon.

Three internal stairs down to the bathroom was unusual but tolerable for a short stay. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Wifi was patchy in our room, sometimes unusable.

I went away to work on my PhD thesis. They were very accomodating. The WiFi is there, but poor, not at all surprising because of the area though. Breakfast was great, you just need to remember to change your order the night before. I spent a lot of time in the room with my laptop and it suited me fine. Little bit of a walk to find evening meals but not too far. Easy to reach from train station and bus stop for those without cars.

Thank you Lynn and David for making our brief break away to celebrate our friends birthday even better. We had room 4, which was absolutely fine for us (only myself the 2nd night as my husband had to leave due to work). A very firm double, snug but very efficient shower and breakfast....well I was chuffed to bits as I love sausages and these were obviously local. Lynn even recomended where I could buy them. Such friendly hosts and gave everyone time for a natter despite their obvious busy schedules. Prime location too. We will DEFINITELY be returning and will recomend to others. Thank you and hope to see you next time.

Very lovingly furnished guest house with a friendly reception from David. Everything is within walking distance. The car park is small, but all have found a place. The room (# 6) and the bathroom were very clean and modern. USB connectors on the Radiowecker help all those who do not have a UK plug. Very quiet in the house and from the street you can hardly hear anything. The hot breakfast is ordered the day before. In the morning we were greeted by Lynn, who was responsible for the breakfast (8:15 - 9:00). Coffee is freshly cooked when you come; If required, there is more toast, more coffee. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, juice, cereal were always there and were refilled.Overall a great, clean, well-kept and recommended accommodation.

David and Lynn are perfect hosts and are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.Mary's court is in a perfect location for a visit to snowdon and is only a couple of minutes walk from the village where there are a lovely selection of bars, restaurants and shops. We found Mary's Court to be a very friendly and welcoming place where nothing seemed to be too much trouble. It is conveniently situated with ideal parking. If I could criticise anything it it that the rooms are on the small side, but the quality of the cooked breakfast more than makes up for it.

Myself and my partner recently stayed for 2 nights at Mary's court and what an absolute gem of a guest house this is. We were greeted the moment we pulled into the car park with a warm friendly welcome, and that set the tone throughout our stay. The house and our room (room 2) were immaculately presented and we particularly loved the small terrace leading off our room which meant we could sit with a glass of wine and watch the world go by. The room was very quiet, and comfortable with the showering facilities more than adequate. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, and Lynn was always ensuring we had fresh tea and coffee and a supple of fresh toast.Lynn has a wonderful knowledge of the local area and was very forthcoming with some suggestions for day trips out, we took her advice and walked up to Llyn Elsi which is breathtaking.Nothing but great stuff to stay about Mary's court, and wouldn't hesitate to either stay again or recommend to friends and family. Thanks for a fantastic stayMike and Sally

A lounge is available if you want more space in which to relax. Do visit Swallow Falls as it is amongst the best we have seen. Other regional attractions are not far.

Both rooms were bright and welcoming and very comfortable, great nights sleep, early morning view of the hills from our balcony and down to breakfast as you like it. The owners were very welcoming and explained all details clearly. The breakfast was excellent quality. It was great to see a good supply of tea and coffee in the room. The accommodation was presented well.We stayed in room 4 whuch was very small. A couple of a larger frame may struggle in this room. Although far too small it was clean with good bed linen. The en suite shower was excellent.Breakfast times are a little restrictive. So was the parking arrangements.Overall a great little place for a short stay of one or two nights.

Mary's Court is very conveniently placed on the edge of the village in easy walking distance of shops, restaurants, car parks and tourist information. David, the host, was very welcoming on arrival and we felt very at home. The room was bright, clean and well equipped, perhaps a little small if you have large cases but we had weekend bags and managed well. I understand there are other, larger rooms. The bed was a good size but the mattress too hard for us although would suit guests used to one very firm. The option of a 'topper' would have made our stay more restful. The breakfast was good and Lynne went out of her way to please us, which was appreciated.Overall, this guest house is pleasant, convenient and good value for money, with friendly, welcoming hosts.

The most welcoming guest house we have ever stayed in. Greated at the front door as soon as we got off the motorbike. Invited into the lounge area for tea & biscuits whilst we had a chat about the guest house breakfast times etc. thank you very much for making our stay a very pleasurable & relaxing experience.

The B&B was perfect, it was lovely and homely and clean. The hosts were very friendly and are a great help with information on the area. The room was lovely and a nice view from the balcony. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice. Hopefully we will visit again.

The best B&B we have ever stayed in. The hosts were so attentive and friendly that we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The experience exceeded by far our expectations. Delicious breakfasts and attention to detail made our stay very special. Very close to all the major attractions. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quality stay at a reasonable price. We would not hesitate to stay again in fact it was very hard to leave

The Mary's Court is an excellent base for enjoying Snowdonia, from walks around Betws-y-Coed to expeditions further afield. The rooms are immaculately kept, the breakfasts are delicious, and the hosts are ever helpful in facilitating the many things to do in the area.We are delighted to have found them.

Great location, very friendly staff, and super comfy bed.Only downside: a vegetarian breakfast should be more than a meat breakfast with the meat taken off - maybe a veggie sausage, or at least an extra egg!

It was so lovely after a long journey to receive such a warm welcome at Mairlys. Lynne and David were fantastic hosts from offering us a drink when we arrived to booking at table at a local restaurant for us. Lovely clean and warm accommodation, delicious breakfasts and a super location both for walking to the shops and restaurants and accessing a range of walks. We will definitely be staying again!

A lovely place run by lovely people! Our room was immaculate, breakfast very tasty and the owners could not do enough to help, even drying out our wringing wet coats after we were caught in torrential new year rain! I would highly recommend this place.

A weekend away for our anniversary without the children, this was just what we needed. A warm welcome from Lynn, a lovely bright room and a great location. The breakfast was fabulous, a good selection of cereals and fruit followed by a full Welsh made with quality local produce. Would happily return, if only we could get rid of the kids more often!

I selected this Guest house on line without knowing the area and with minimal research. I was therefore very pleasantly surprised with the outcome. This was a very pleasant, clean and tidy establishment. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast was plentiful and good quality. The location was great. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in very easy walking distance, but not so close to be a problem with noise etc. The price was very reasonable. Well worth a stay.

This has to be one of the best B&Bs around. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Room was spotlessly clean, the bed was so comfortable we could have brought it home with us. And the amazing breakfast set us both up for the day. All in all a stunning place to stay with glorious views, convivial hosts and brilliant accomodation. And some excellent restaurants just a stones throw away.

Just returned home after staying at this wonderful guest house for the weekend. The house and room was 'spotlessly clean', beautifully decorated to high standard. Lovely couple, Lynn and David very welcoming, relaxed atmosphere and the breakfast was second to none! Fresh food used and served in a lovely dining room.We would highly recommend this guest house, small, homely and spotlessly clean. It is near the village, shops and amenities and has free off street parking.Highly recommended

Mairlys is a really great place to stay and a convenient base for all activities within Snowdonia. There are fantastic walks with stunning scenery, miles of roads, reservoirs and lakes to cycle and of course Snowdon to climb.Lynn and David are very friendly, helpful and welcoming and storing my bike was no problem at all. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable and I had a hearty cooked breakfast every day.My only complaint is that I ran out of days to do what I had planned, so I'll just have to return again and again.....!

My partner and I stayed here for a couple of nights. The welcome was warm and the stay was lovely. We stayed in room 4 which was the only one available when we were booking which was described as compact. As we were only staying for a couple of nights we thought it would not matter. In actual fact the room was ideal for our stay. Very clean and functional. The owners were so helpful and on hand if required. Our stay was a very pleasant one and this is somewhere we would happily stay again. However we will book earlier for a larger room if the stay is longer. Thank you for making our short break a special experience.

Bad start as I was looking for Mary's Court and sign said 'Mairlys'. I understand that there will be a new sign soon but in the meantime I suggest an explanatory email following the booking. Llyn's effusive welcome overcame my grumpy feeling. Room was good, quiet, not too hot. Shower was good. Breakfast good, particularly not packaged butter, marmalade etc. However I think that limiting breakfast to 8.30 - 9 is a bit restrictive.

Excellent stay in this hotel, just round the corner from the train station (which you can't even hear the trains form the hotel!)No problems whatsoever, was clean, had a nice room, cooked breakfast in the morning was lovely! The people in charge gave us a warm welcome, even getting us a card and present for our wedding, and also let us use their umbrella due to the weather, and they knew the best places to eat etcOnly thing was, could have better wifi, but then we didn't need it that much and you are in Wales, so didn't expect the best one! Thanks sooo much for having us!
